Flight Prices
With Jetweb you can always combine different airline companies for your outbound and inbound flight. Our prices are always presented with taxes and charges included. This guarantees that you will not get any unpleasant surprises at the end of your booking process.
Bear in mind that flight prices are ?perishable? which means that they can differ from one moment to another.
Child Discounts
The child discount varies depending on airline company and price range. You will receive correct information about current discounts at the time of your booking.
Flight Taxes
Different types of charges that are added to the price are gathered under the concept taxes. These taxes are a part of an airport?s source of income. The airline companies pay charges for landing and take off for all planes. The income from the taxes also pays for upholding the high security standards required on all airports. Flight taxes are thus nothing that we control, they are charges that the airline companies take from all passengers. These taxes differ between airports and airline companies which means that they can vary depending on choice of destination and flight route. Our prices are always shown with taxes and charges included. However, on some airports such as in Thailand, it can occur that the passengers have to pay a so called departure tax which is paid at the airport.p>
Flight Times
All flight times are local times.
The airline companies sometimes change their time of departure at short notice. We recommend you to double check your flight times when you travel. If we are informed about changes in the schedule before your outbound flight, we will let you know by e-mail or telephone, but we can not be held responsible for changes in the schedule or other changes that may be made by the airline companies that are beyond our control.
If you travel outside Europe, we recommend you to contact the airline company you are flying home with, and reconfirm your ticket.
Payment
In order to simplify the booking process and to be able to offer you the lowest prices, Jetweb only accepts payment by credit card or plusgiro.
You can use the most frequent credit cards: Eurocard, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express.
Ticket Delivery
Travelling with an electronical ticket is the easiest, safest and cheapest way to travel. You can book your trip up to eight hours before departure.
Confirmation of your order that you have received to your email address (the one you have stated in your booking) is your ticket for the trip. Please bear in mind that it is your responsibility to control that all statements in the order are correct, so as name, dates and flight times. You need the confirmation number together with your passport for manual or automatic check-in. If you wish we can also send you a copy of your booking confirmation with regular mail.
Rebooking and Cancellation
With our low prices we need to have very strict booking conditions. Once you have paid for the ticket and have received a booking confirmation, no rebooking or repayment of your ticket can be made. Nor are the tickets transferable. You can however send a request for cancellation using the Cancellation-button on your Personal Page. If there is a cost to cancel a sales person will contact you on the phone, if there is no cost you will receive a mail confirmning that cancellation is made. You can also contact the airline compnay directly for cancellation requests.
We recommend you to buy a cancellation insurance, in order to be protected against unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation Insurance
As no cancellation or rebooking of our tickets can be made, you can not get any money back if you should get sick and unable to use your paid ticket.
With a cancellation insurance you will get your money refunded if you or a family member gets sick before your trip has begun.
The cancellation policy is bought when you make your booking and is not possible to buy or cancel afterwards!
The cancellation insurance will only be valid together with a doctor's certificate, and the trip must be cancelled before departure.
Should you get sick during the trip, it is your travel insurance that will cover the costs. We recommend you to check up the protection you have through your home insurance and/or your travel insurance through the credit card.
Luggage
For trips within Europe it is with most of the airlines usually allowed 44 pounds (20 kg) free luggage, hand-baggage excluded. Always check the luggage rules for the flight you will book!
When travelling with American airline companies or when travelling to North America, a so called piece concept usually allows you to bring two bags with a maximum weight of 23 kg each, and a maximum total linear dimension of 62 inches (158 cm) (length + width + height). For travelling to other parts of the world, the rules are the same as for travelling within Europe.
Note that the luggage information above is general rules and it can be exceptions and changes!
If you have any questions or if you plan to bring more than the allowed free luggage, please contact the airline company concerned as the costs for excess luggage vary between the different airline companies.
Should your luggage be damaged or if it doesn?t arrive in connection to the flight, please contact the airline company directly on the airport. The airline companies have different rules regarding compensation for lost/damaged luggage.
Passport and Visa
For certain trips a visa is required, especially when you have booked one-way-tickets or tickets to countries outside Europe.
You must normally apply for a visa in advance. You apply to the embassy or consulate of the country you want to visit or pass through. The visa is valid only a limited time.
It is always the passenger?s responsibility to have a valid passport and visa with her/him. Some countries have specific requirements regarding the period of validity of the passport. Often a minimum of 6 months validity after the arrival date is required. Make sure that you have all the documents you need for your trip.
